The medal is devoted to the 100th anniversary of the events of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921 and the creation of the first foreign policy office of Ukraine, the General Secretariat of International Affairs. The General Secretariat for International Affairs was formed in December 1917 as part of the General Secretariat of the Ukrainian National Republic. His obligations were determined: the implementation of international relations of the state and the protection of the interests of Ukrainian citizens outside the UNR.

Tereshchenkovsky, where the General Secretary of International Affairs was stationed 100 years ago, on the left above the building in a cartoon of plant ornament – a trident; Under the building – inscription 100 / YEARS / YEARS.
