| The commemorative coin continues the `Rebirth of the Christian Spirituality in Ukraine` series and is dedicated to one of the old pilgrimage places – Maria`s Spiritual Centre in the village of Zarvanytsia (Ternopil Oblast), whose origination is tied in with the legendary apparition of a wonderworking icon of the Mother of God. Nowadays Zarvanytsia is one of the most respected places of penitential sojourn. |
 | On the coin obverse above there are the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the semicircular legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine); beneath there are indicated the coin face value and mintage year 10 ГРИВЕНЬ/2010 (10 hryvnias). In the center there is depicted the wonderworking icon of Our Lady of Zarvanytsia, to the right and left whereof – the angels from the iconostasis. |  | On the coin reverse there is depicted the impressive architectural ensemble of the cathedral of Our Lady of Zarvanytsia with its bell tower and inscriptions: МАРІЙСЬКИЙ ДУХОВНИЙ ЦЕНТР (Maria`s Spiritual Centre), semicircular above, and с.
