To do this, follow the three steps to verify the authenticity of the banknote:

Step 1. Check the banknote by touch

• Feel the banknote paper and the relief of the images

Step 2. Look at it against the light

• Check watermarks
• Check the through element
• Check the microtext of the tape

Step 3. Change the angle

• You can see how the element changes color.

If you have a banknote in your wallet that is doubtful about the authenticity and payment of the banknote, contact any bank to send such cash for research to the National Bank.
