On 20 July 2016, the National Bank of Ukraine began circulating 10 and 2 hryvnia commemorative `Lady`s Slipper Orchid` coins dedicated to the endangered perennial plant of the Orchid family Orchidaceae. The plant is on Ukraine`s list of endangered species. This pretty flower, whose distinctive shape resembles that of Oriental shoes, is one of the most famous orchids in the Northern Hemisphere.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\"\u041e\u0417\u0423\u041b\u0418\u041d\u0406<\/td>\nOn the obverse of the coin, within a wreath formed by images of some flora and fauna species, there are the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the inscriptions: on the silver coin – \u0423\u041a\u0420\u0410\u0407\u041d\u0410\/10\/\u0413\u0420\u0418\u0412\u0415\u041d\u042c\/2016.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
