The coin is dedicated to an outstanding example of Ukrainian wooden temples of old types – Holy Spirit Church in Rohatyn (1598). Its iconostasis being now in a good state of preservation has extraordinarily high artistic value. The temple is a monument that has immortalized the talent of masters from Halychyna for architecture, carving and icon painting.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

<\/td>\nOn the obverse above there are the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the semicircular legend: \u041d\u0410\u0426\u0406\u041e\u041d\u0410\u041b\u042c\u041d\u0418\u0419 \u0411\u0410\u041d\u041a \u0423\u041a\u0420\u0410\u0407\u041d\u0418 (National Bank of Ukraine); the conventionalized image of the 16th century icon of the temple – `Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles` – with the candelabra to the right and left thereof; below – the coin issue year 2009 and the face value 10 \u0413\u0420\u0418\u0412\u0415\u041d\u042c (10 hryvnias).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nOn the reverse there is depicted the church with the legends: \u0426\u0415\u0420\u041a\u0412\u0410\/\u0421\u0412\u042f\u0422\u041e\u0413\u041e\/\u0414\u0423\u0425\u0410\/XVI\/\u0421\u0422.
