The commemorative coin continues the `Rebirth of the Christian Spirituality in Ukraine` series and is dedicated to one of the old pilgrimage places – Maria`s Spiritual Centre in the village of Zarvanytsia (Ternopil Oblast), whose origination is tied in with the legendary apparition of a wonderworking icon of the Mother of God. Nowadays Zarvanytsia is one of the most respected places of penitential sojourn.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

<\/td>\nOn the coin obverse above there are the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the semicircular legend \u041d\u0410\u0426\u0406\u041e\u041d\u0410\u041b\u042c\u041d\u0418\u0419 \u0411\u0410\u041d\u041a \u0423\u041a\u0420\u0410\u0407\u041d\u0418 (National Bank of Ukraine); beneath there are indicated the coin face value and mintage year 10 \u0413\u0420\u0418\u0412\u0415\u041d\u042c\/2010 (10 hryvnias). In the center there is depicted the wonderworking icon of Our Lady of Zarvanytsia, to the right and left whereof – the angels from the iconostasis.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nOn the coin reverse there is depicted the impressive architectural ensemble of the cathedral of Our Lady of Zarvanytsia with its bell tower and inscriptions: \u041c\u0410\u0420\u0406\u0419\u0421\u042c\u041a\u0418\u0419 \u0414\u0423\u0425\u041e\u0412\u041d\u0418\u0419 \u0426\u0415\u041d\u0422\u0420 (Maria`s Spiritual Centre), semicircular above, and \u0441. \u0417\u0410\u0420\u0412\u0410\u041d\u0418\u0426\u042f\/\u0422\u0415\u0420\u041d\u041e\u041f\u0406\u041b\u042c\u0421\u042c\u041a\u0410 \u041e\u0411\u041b.
